Ingredients

- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 pear or apple, grated (optional, for tenderizing)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated onion, grated pear (if using), black pepper, and chopped green onions to make the marinade.
